We had the great opportunity to go to ASU's homecoming game this weekend. It was so much fun! It was a new experience for both of us! What brought us here? The marketing campaign that Brett wrote a blog about a while back.... "Bring your A game...We bring ours everyday." Here it is on a board at the field. We enjoyed tailgating with some of Brett's co-workers prior to the game. BBQ sandwiches were the perfect way to get prepared for the game.
We got a little sunburned but it was well worth it! You can see some of the mountains around us - it was the most gorgeous day!
One part that I truly enjoyed and have huge respect for is the marching band. They are amazing!!! Here is a picture from the pre-game show. It brought back memories of my high school marching band, but we were not nearly this good. The memories are what's important!
ASU smeared the Citadel - if there was ever any doubt. After the game we grabbed dinner with Curtis (Brett's co-worker) and his wife Cara at Foothills Brewery in Winston-Salem. It was a wonderful restaurant and the perfect way to end the game day!
