We had an opportunity to travel to Birmingham, Alabama to see two of our college friends, Ashley and Thomas, get married. This was Brett's 2nd trip and my first trip to Birmingham. Absolutely loved it! There was a quick turn around time... we flew out at 10pm on Friday and flew back at 10am on Sunday, but it was worth every second. Ashley and Thomas are an amazing couple (and beautiful too) and it has been a really neat experience to watch their relationship develop over the years!
The George wedding was absolutely gorgeous.... and we were honored to attend! Every detail was perfectly elegant. Another fun part of our trip... this was a small reunion for a lot of our friends from college. After a reception and cake cutting at the church, some of the guests headed to Ashley's sister's house for a second reception. This was the more gorgeous location that I have ever seen. It was a beautiful home with lush green grass, flower arrangements scattered around with tons of candles. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and then danced the night away!
