Our Baby Boy

We have had an amazing few days!  Words cannot express our overwhelming joy and thankfulness with the arrival of our son.  Wow... just saying "our son" makes me tear up.  We have so much to share with all of you, but considering we're lucky to even take a quick shower right now... it may take a few more days before we fill you in on the great details.    Meanwhile, here are some cute pics of our life together over the last 6 days.  Cuteness warning: be prepared - he will melt your heart!!! 

This picture was taken a few hours after his birth on Friday evening. 

 On Saturday, we both had the opportunity to feed our son.  What a bonding experience!  He's a great eater!  

This is really one of our favorite pics.  He loves to sleep with his hands up at his face. 

 Jess' Mom and Dad came to visit us and our birth mom at the hospital.  They brought a beautiful flower arrangement for our birth mom, which was so thoughtful.  We were so excited to introduce Isaac to Granddaddy and Grandmommy!

On Sunday, we could hardly wait to take him home.  This is his "take home" outfit.  We actually purchased it on our wedding anniversary last year.  It was really exciting to put it to use!

This is one of our favorite pictures since being at home.  His swelling and slight bruising has gone down, and his complexion is adorable!  He's just perfect and we love him sooooooooo much!
