While Isaac was recovering from surgery, he gave us a super fun gift...his first smile!!! It came out of nowhere and I as like, "Brett, grab the camera... NOW!!!" As quickly as he could, he ran over and captured the special moment:

It's hard for us to believe that he's already two months old! (since I'm posting this late, he's already 10 weeks) It is so fun to watch him grow and change every day. Especially since his surgery, he is a completely different baby, so it is really exciting to learn his personality!
When this photo was taken, he was still pretty little for his age, but no worries... he's catching right up!!
We love this photo. He was starting to fall over, but the smile is so cute!!!
Isaac fun facts:
- Length: 23 inches (1.5 in increase)
- Weight: 10 lbs (1lb increase - all happened in the last week)
- Eye color: beautiful blue... no signs of brown yet, but there's still time
- He currently eats 27 - 30 ounces each day and keeps all of it down! Yes, it's a little much for his weight, but we think he's making up for the growth spurts that he missed out on. :)
- He sleeps 10 - 12 hours per night, waking up 2 times for feedings. Usually he goes one long stretch (7 hours) followed by a short stretch.
- He takes three naps each day: 1 hour morning nap, 2-3 hour afternoon nap, 1 hour evening nap
- He's making tons of new noises... each day something different. Sometimes he makes noises that catch him off guard and startle him and then he has a look on his face like, "Whoa! Did that come from me?" So funny!
- He is in love with his bouncy seat! He kicks so much that he bounces himself. He will stare at the lights and "coo" as the music plays.
- He can see a much longer distance than ever before. He follows people across the room!
- He likes standing on our laps and trying to pull himself up to a standing position! He's such a strong boy!
