There's a first time for everything...

It seems like the last few weeks have gone by so quickly probably because they have been very full...not really with fun stuff, but lots of necessary firsts.  I'll try to start out with and mix in some fun stuff to lighten the mood! :)

One thing that Isaac and Brett love to do together is to listen to music while swaying and bouncing.  Brett will sing to Isaac.  It is so cute!  Isaac could do this for hours.  He has so much fun!

So snugly!
Isaac has a love/hate relationship with his pacifier.  Sometimes he wants it and other times he will spit it out and make a horrible face.  We haven't tried to steer him either direction, but the inconsistency is really funny!  We have noticed that he wants it more when he isn't feeling well.

One of our many firsts: Vaccines.  Wow!  He was such a trooper!  The actual shots went well, but he had a fever and our routine was thrown off for the rest of the week... eating, napping, sleeping at night, etc. The good news was that his discomfort was temporary, which also made ours temporary.  Also, you can see that his stomach has healed very well from his surgery!

Random pic - Such a cute crab on his bottom!  We love this little outfit!  This cute blanket was given to us by my boss and his wife.  Adorable!

 Smiles with Grandmommy!

Yes, in case you were wondering... my eyes are still bright blue!

... and my hair is still crazy curly after bath time!  I have also developed additional chins as I've been packing on the pounds.

His neck has gotten strong enough that we've started putting him in the bumbo seat for a little while each day.  These are pictures from his first time in the seat! He really liked it and laughed and smiled!

On top of the vaccines, we've also had a few other firsts...Isaac's first time at daycare, my first week back at work, Isaac's first cold.  He's still working on getting over this cold, but he's sleeping better and eating better again.  The good news is that we made it through all of these firsts and they all went much smoother than expected!   Now we get to look forward to much more fun firsts in the future!!!

As a final thought, through the easy and the hard days... there's nothing as great as being a parent!  Isaac is such a good baby and we love him to pieces!!!

Coming soon... our anniversary pics and Isaac's three month pics! (Hard to believe he will be 3 months tomorrow!)
