Thanksgiving

We took a wonderful trip to visit Brett's family at Thanksgiving.  This was our first time flying with Isaac, and he really did well!  We packed several toys but mainly ate and then napped.  He really enjoyed being in our arms, which we really enjoy too.  At the airports, we had him in the bjorn carrier, facing out.  Wow! He had so much fun with this.  He kicked and squealed the whole time!

Getting ready for his first trip on an airplane...

It was so exciting for Brett's family to get to meet Isaac for the first time.  He was so fun, happy, and cuddly.  We were really glad that even though Isaac was trying to get over a respiratory infection, our family got to see him as the super fun baby that we are fortunate to enjoy and adore each day.

Isaac loved spending time with Grandma Jan

It was a lot of fun seeing our nieces and our nephew too!

Pop Pop and Caroline (wow, she has grown so much!)

Having fun with Nana

It was really special for Grandpa Alvin and Grandma Loretta to see Isaac for the first time.  They have been so involved with our entire journey of growing our family.  It gave my chills to see the look in their eyes as they held him!

Des made an incredible corn chowder that we had after hearing David preach at Rose Hill Friends Church.

Great pic with all the grandkids!
This was the closest we came to everyone looking the same direction.

This is by far my fav recent picture of our little guy!  He is such a happy boy and he really loved seeing family in Kansas!
